ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jaz is a singer, award-winning published and performance poet, actress, and ASCAP member-songwriter from Philadelphia. She holds a BA in Theater from Temple University. She is a member of the performance groups For Women Collective and Wings of Worth (co-founder). Jaz is the author of the poetry chapbooks The Carving Out Of A Butterfly’s Wings Parts I & II and one poetry book Serenading Flowers: A Book of Dedications. Her poems are featured in multiple anthologies, literary magazines, and on public radio. She is inspired by storms and rainbows. Jaz is a vessel of Christ for ministry, whether on or off the stage.
