by Zach Klebaner

Through a lunar redirection

and the speculation

of one great motherly spirit

came the big bourbon biscuit

for the chomping of a champ

and into the damp universe

the crumbs of it fell

for some dreamy digestion

as the hum of some bird

came with this little note needing

to be rewritten again

as something pierced the skin

of the ground like a heroic needle

of sunny side nectar

dancing as the specters sung it

out like some nausea

to build a nest from.

This is the million rebirth

of an age-old tale

this is the planetary thrust

of tightly drawn shades

this is the handed deck.

Dirty or not, we will clean

by the centimeter of every sentiment

sent down as cancerous mystery

this wild floor of exploded color

to be as Love once again!
